'Tight Jeans'

'Tight Jeans' is a short film about a group of young black boys who are waiting for their friend. As they get impatient one of them sparks conversation over his ludicrous theories on slavery. It's a lighthearted and silly short film. Although I honestly don't know what to write about it honestly apart from the script.

Performance -

This film really sticks to one scenario and doesn't really stand out apart from the story its telling and the actors' performance. Although to be honest, I don't think the performance is that spectacular, but it is enjoyable and its one of the few things that sticks out. What this film tells me is if I lack the funds, location, shots, skills in camerawork and such, I can still make a decent film if I make a fun or engaging script.

Overall Thoughts -

I think this is perhaps the weakest short film I've seen so far but I don't think its awful. I think what it has shows that anyone can make an enjoyable short film from almost nothing. Like I mentioned earlier, an engaging script is something I can use to make a lackluster film decent and I also realised I don't need to make the script too serious and can make it fun and still be engaging.
