Today we tried writing dialogue in a screenplay. Here's what I came up with:
INT. CAFE, DAY
The café is bustling. The sun shines through the window onto SUSAN, who sits patiently.
JIM enters the frame and sits himself opposite SUSAN.
His vibrant and shining personality clashes with SUSAN's distress.
SUSAN holds back her tears as she tries to build her confidence.
SUSAN pulls off her mask revealing her true form as a shark.
The café erupts in chaos as people scream at the sight of a shark flailing their fins, storming out.

JIM
What's shakin' bacon?

SUSAN
I can't live this lie anymore. I can't lie to you anymore.
JIM
What are you lying about? I'm sure it'll be okay.
SUSAN holds back her tears as she tries to build her confidence.
SUSAN
We cannot be... Because, I'm a shark.
SUSAN pulls off her mask revealing her true form as a shark.
JIM
Holy shit you're a shark!
The café erupts in chaos as people scream at the sight of a shark flailing their fins, storming out.
That's the best screenplay I've read all day!!!
